In the Field

A little country scene for this beginning of the week:

... a Large White Butterfly (Piéride) and an Hamster are playing around a Flax (Fleur de Lin)...

  1. Lovely . . looks almost like it could be an illustration for a Beatrix Potter story!

I have Flax seeds (or Linseed as it is better known) ground up and mixed with my muesli for breakfast every morning, togehter with an extra sprinkling of crushed Brazil nuts . . a very healthy start to each day!

  2. Sweet!

I am wondering if it would add a bit to it when you paint a shadow for the Hamster?

    You paintings are so beautiful!

    1. I admit that I only thought to try reproducing light effects with the flower's petals....and now you mention it, it might have been better with one for the Hamster....
I wish you a nice evening, Lily
